Stars of Disney’s three currently running Broadway shows rose early on the morning of April 12 to bring the magic to Good Morning America.
Celebrating 25 years of Disney productions on Broadway (beginning with Beauty and the Beast in 1994), the performers sang a mega-medley of songs from Disney’s numerous Broadway productions from the past two-and-a-half decades.
Ryann Redmond, currently playing Olaf in Frozen sang “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast”; Bradley Gibson and Syndee Winters, The Lion King’s Simba and Nala, sang “Can You Feel the Love Tonight?”; Patti Murin, Frozen’s Anna, sang “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins; Arielle Jacobs and Ainsley Melham, Aladdin’s Jasmine and Aladdin, sang “You’ll Be in My Heart” from Tarzan; L. Steven Taylor, The Lion King’s Mufasa, sang “Under The Sea” from The Little Mermaid; the full ensemble joined in on “Carrying the Banner” from Newsies; Michael James Scott, Aladdin’s Genie, sang “Friend Like Me” from the show; and Cassie Levy, Frozen’s Elsa, belted out her signature “Let It Go.”
