Opening June 15, Lyndsey Turner's The Crucible continues its West End run at the Gielgud Theatre after playing London's National Theatre last year. The Olivier-nominated production began previews June 7, playing a strictly limited run through September 2.

The Crucible explores the United States' 1692 Salem Witch Trials and how one village descended into fear as a group of young women's words gained power, and private vendettas became public accusations. Milly Alcock (House of the Dragon) stars as Abigail Williams alongside Brian Gleeson (Peaky Blinders) as John Proctor and Caitlin FitzGerald (Succession) as Elizabeth Proctor.

The trio leads the company of the Arthur Miller play with Karl Johnson (Hot Fuzz), Fisayo Akinade (Romeo & Juliet), Matthew Marsh (Dunkirk), David Ahmad, Zoë Aldrich, Stephanie Beattie, Raphael Bushay, Henry Everett, Nick Fletcher, Colin Haigh, Nadine Higgin, Gracie McGonigal, Alastair Parker, Joy Tan, and Tilly Tremayne reprising their roles. Joining them for the West End run are Tama Phethean, Amy Snudden, and Nia Towle

Rounding out the cast are ensemble members Christopher Birch, Lucy Brindle, Grace Farrell, Chyna-Rose Frederick, Miya James, Ebony Jonelle, and Samuel Townsend.
