DESCRIPTION

Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble in Bloomsburg, PA is on the lookout for three vibrant, lively individuals to bring our latest Theatre in the Classroom (TIC) touring production, Discovering Frederick Douglass: the Remarkable Life of a National Leader, to life. This exciting project, written and directed by Gabe Moses, will travel to area schools and share the inspiring story of Frederick Douglass with students grades K-8.

Who We're Looking For:
3 actors, any gender
- 21-29, Black
- A compelling storyteller
- Strong singers and great movers
- Musical instrument skills are a plus but not required

What's the Gig?
You'll be part of a small, energetic team bringing history to life in classrooms. Our TIC tours transform school environments into stages, creating an immersive and educational experience for students. For more on what a TIC tour is all about, check out BTE's website.

Rehearsals Begin: February 17th, 2025 in Bloomsburg and run Monday-Friday 10am-5pm
Tour Run: March 17th-May 23rd, 2025
Compensation: $400/week; housing included
