Performances began June 26 for the MCC staging of Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow, Halley Feiffer's contemporary re-imagining of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters. Directed by Trip Cullman, the production is scheduled to run through August 3, with opening night set for July 18.
The play stars Rebecca Henderson (The Wayside Motor Inn), Chris Perfetti (Sons of the Prophet), and Tavi Gevinson (Days of Rage, This Is Our Youth) as sisters Olga, Masha, and Irina, respectively; the cast is rounded out by Tony nominee Steven Boyer (Hand to God), Ako (God Said This), Sas Goldberg (Significant Other), Greg Hildreth (Frozen), Matthew Jeffers (Light Shining in Buckinghamshire), Gene Jones (Big River), Alfredo Narciso (Time and the Conways), Ryan Spahn (Summer and Smoke), and Ray Anthony Thomas (Jitney).
