Presented by Bedlam, Zuzanna Szadkowski and Deborah Knox’s Fall River Fishing officially opens its world premiere February 26 at the Connelly Theater. Previews began for the Off-Broadway run February 17, with performances set through March 9.
The absurd comedy imagines what happened the day Lizzie Borden did (or didn't) murder her parents with an axe in 1892 Massachusetts. Starring the work's playwrights, Szadkowski and Knox, the cast also features Susannah Millonzi, Tony Torn, and Jamie Smithson.
Eric Tucker directs the production with lighting design by Les Dickert, set design by Cate McCrea, properties design by Buffy Cardoza, and costume design by Charlotte Palmer-Lane. Diane Healy serves as stage manager with Lacey Jo Stoat assisting.
Fall River Fishing offers ticket initiatives, which include free and reduced-price tickets for underserved communities and educational programs, "Pay What You Can” performance March 12, and $10 rush tickets available to all students, veterans, and current service members.
