Trevor: The Musical features a book and lyrics by Dan Collins with music by Julianne Wick Davis, direction by Marc Bruni, and choreography by Josh Prince. Kurt Deutsch and Matt Deitchman produced the 19-track album which includes orchestrations by Greg Pliska.

Based on an original story by Celeste Lecesne and Peggy Rajski's 1995 Oscar-winning short film, the musical follows 13-year-old Trevor, who struggles to navigate his own identity and determine how he fits in a challenging world on a journey of self-discovery. "One, Two" references the beginning of an 8-count dance sequence he's practicing.
