Nick Blaemire and Van HughesSpace Dogs, currently running at Off-Broadway's MCC Theater, will release an original cast recording via Ghostlight Records. The digital and streaming release drops February 11, two days before the production's opening night. Pre-orders, now available, include immediate access to the album single "If I Start a Race."

Written by and starring Blaemire and Hughes, the quirky musical follows the so-absurd-it-must-be-true story of the dogs trained by Russian scientists to travel into outer space. In addition to playing human characters, Blaemire and Hughes use puppets and play a variety of instruments to bring the story to life on stage.
