Playing the Daryl Roth Theatre, the parody jukebox musical currently stars RuPaul's Drag Race's Rosé.

Marla Mindelle and the cast of Titanique Emilio Madrid

Titanique, the parody jukebox musical based on the iconic film Titanic, has announced another extension at Off-Broadway's Daryl Roth Theatre through September 10. The news follows a previous extension through May.

The current cast stars Marla Mindelle (Sister Act) as Céline Dion, Constantine Rousouli (Cruel Intentions) as Jack, Carrie St. Louis (Wicked) as Rose, Rosé (Ross McCorkell) (RuPaul’s Drag Race) as Victor Garber, Mark Evans (Mrs. Doubtfire) as Cal, Russell Daniels (80’s Prom) as Ruth, Desireé Rodriguez (FBI) as The Unsinkable Molly Brown, and Avionce Hoyles (Bat Out of Hell) as The Iceberg. Blu Allen, Courtney Bassett, Brad Greer, Donnie Hammond, and Kristina Walz round out the cast.

The musical parody of James Cameron's 1997 blockbuster film, filled with a catalog of Céline Dion hits, features a fictional version of the Canadian singer as an omniscient narrator. Commandeering a tour group at the Titanic museum, she tells guests her version of Jack and Rose's love story. The irreverent show includes the film's famous "My Heart Will Go On," as well as "All By Myself," "To Love You More," and others to explain what really happened to and between the lovers.

Titanique was co-written by Mindelle, Rousouli, and director Tye Blue, and it features music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Nicholas Connell. The work transferred from the Asylum Theatre to the Daryl Roth last year where it played June 23-November 13.
