Off-Broadway News World Premiere of You Will Get Sick Opens Off-Broadway at Roundabout November 6

Opening November 6, Noah Diaz's You Will Get Sick continues its world premiere at Roundabout's Laura Pels Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. Previews for the Off-Broadway limited engagement began October 14 for a run through December 11.

Tony winner Linda Lavin stars in the play alongside Marinda Anderson (sandblasted), Daniel K. Isaac (Billions), Nate Miller (Junk), and Dario Ladani Sanchez (Selling Kabul). You Will Get Sick follows a young man who receives a life-changing diagnosis and hires an older woman to tell the news to his love ones. It's a decision that reshapes both of their lives.

Directing is Tony nominee Sam Pinkleton, who helms the production featuring set design by dots, costumes by Alicia Austin, lighting by Cha See, sound design Lee Kinney, and illusions by Skylar Fox.

The show marks the reunion between Lavin and Pinkleton who last worked together on the 2012 Broadway premiere of The Lyons. Lavin's additional stage credits include The Tale of the Allergist’s WifeThe Last of the Red Hot LoversThe Diary of Anne Frank, and Broadway Bound—which earned the performer a Tony nod for Best Actress in a Play.
