A final extension of Irish Repertory Theatre production of Samuel Beckett's Endgame through April 16 has been announced. The one-week extension comes after the play's previous four-week extension.
Tony nominee John Douglas Thompson stars as Hamm, blind and chair bound, living out the end days in a dingy room with his servant Clov and his parents (who live in trash cans). Tony winner Bill Irwin plays Clov, the only inhabitant capable of coming and going...yet he does not go. Joe Grifasi and Patrice Johnson Chevannes star as parents Nell and Nagg.
Previews began January 25 for the work, which plays the Francis J. Greenburger Mainstage. It opened February 2.
