A staged reading of Colman Domingo's Dot is available for streaming from Connecticut's Westport Country Playhouse March 17-20.
Tina Fabrique plays Dot with Joi Danielle Price as Shelley, Stacie Morgain Lewis as Jackie, Byron St. Cyr as Donnie, Evette Marie White as Averie, Jonny Mercado as Fidel, and Dan Domingues as Adam. Q. Smith directs the reading.
Taking place in the Shealy house in West Philly during Christmas, the play deals with the family's journey as matriarch Dotty's memory begins to slip and her three grown children reunite, deal with their own challenges, and come together to take care of Dotty through the difficulties ahead.
The reading is available to stream on demand. The 2022 Script in Hand Playreading Series is supported by the Lucille Lortel Foundation's White Barn program and Stephen Corman.
